Tool Tips

Tool Tips provide information about the condition of each signal source as well as information on the individual event that was captured.

  1. Tool Tip on a Signal Source:
  2. A tool tip with information about the signal source is displayed when the cursor is positioned on the value for a link or the link itself. The tool tip contains a detailed list of all the changes that have occurred on that signal from the time recording was started to the playback position shown on the timeline. This provides a history of value changes for the signal including quality and connection information in one place.
  1. Tool Tip on an event in the timeline:
  2. When the mouse is positioned over an Event on the timeline, a tooltip shows information about the event such as the timestamp, value, and quality.
  1. Multiple Event Tool Tip:
  2. When there are multiple events on the timeline in a short distance, the tool tip shows the events in a chart.
